Letter to my people: Zvigananda have been put to notice

Anyone who thinks that replacing the octogenarian leader with Generari will have a positive impact on the country must be smoking something quite toxic.

My Dear People

THE pandemonium  and turmoil within the ruining party Zanu PF amid allegations of corruption and fights over succession has exposed the incompetence and confusion within the Ngwena regime.

The startling allegations by the Generari of corruption against the likes of Tagwirei and the ex-convict and tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivayo, who are key allies of the Scarfed One, has stirred the hornet’s nest in this dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion.

It has prompted a tide of panic and anger rarely seen since the Scarfed One was propelled into office on the back of guns and tanks.

Not only has it resulted in the attack on Generari by the Zanu PF motormouth  Manizhe, but has also resulted in the reshuffling of the Zanu PF politburo  in which   “the  obedient son”  was demoted from being the party’s secretary general to the much less glamorous role of being in charge of ICT.

I doubt what the obedient son knows about ICT could even fill the back of a postage stamp, but needs must I suppose.

The fight, rooted in  the battle of succession between Generari and the Scarfed One, has clearly shown that the coup that disgracefully removed the national icon and wisdom imbued Gushungo was never about improving the welfare of the country’s citizens but all about whose snout can firmly be entrenched in the feeding trough.

The calls from some quarters for Generari to replace the Scarfed One shows how desperate Zimbabweans are for change even  just for the sake of it.

Anyone who thinks that replacing the octogenarian leader with Generari will have a positive impact on the country must be smoking something quite toxic.

How some believe that having Generari as the country’s leader, who  has called for the crushing of opposition like lice, will be an upgrade on the thoroughly incompetent Ngwena is  as baffling as it is ridiculous.

It is testament to alarming levels of desperation among some of the country’s citizens that some actually believe Generari, who worsened the chaos in the health sector through cracking down on underpaid health workers resulted in a massive medical brain drain in which more than 4000 health workers left the country for greener pastures, could be the leader to take this country forward.

This has proved that the removal of Gushungo’s telescopic foresighted leadership has left the country much poorer with such a rudderless, power hungry and probity deficient regime.

However, we do celebrate that the zvigananda are having sleepless nights. Their day of reckoning is drawing closer by each day.

Munopengaaa!!!

The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, in its wisdom or lack thereof, have launched a perception and confidence survey of the funny money called Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG).

That central bank employees are going round the country asking for views about the funny money inadvertently shows the doubts those at 80 Samora Machel have on the impact of the funny money has on the nation.

It is the height of tomfoolery and monumental waste of money for the central bank to launch a perception and confidence survey for a currency that cannot even secure a national passport nor purchase fuel and has been rejected as a currency of trade in some parts of the country.

One does not need a confidence and perception survey to know that a currency that cannot be used to buy a passport nor fuel is woefully inadequate and dare I say an embarrassment.

That they can only buy fuel in hard currency and not in the funny money to carry out their survey is surely enough to  show the inadequacy of this funny money.

Can  you imagine, my dear people, South Africa launching apperception and confidence survey on the South African rand or the United States launching a similar survey for its United States dollar?

This is madness on steroids.

Such bizarre decisions are what makes this country a laughing stock. To those at the Reserve Bank I say, please Stop It!!!

Munopengaaa!!!

The regime mouthpiece and former nurse Nick has once again shown his penchant for putting his foot in the mouth.

He boasted about Zimbabwean and Pan African diasporans from the United States including the December 12th movement being able to stage a demonstration in the United States on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly against sanctions on the country .

It seems lost on this excitable senior civil servant that the right of the sponsored rabble to demonstrate in the United States is being denied the country’s citizens by the regime he represents and defends.

It is shameful for the regime to boast about a demonstration in the United States while arresting the country’s citizens from doing the same despite it being a right enshrined in the constitution.

That police in the country can even arrest an individual for a one man demonstration in stark contrast to other countries where demonstrations are held without arrests should be a source of shame for the likes of Nick and his colleagues at Munhumutapa Building.

But what can one expect from a regime mouthpiece, who can foolishly lie that a handpicked regime defender is a former Australian prime minister?
