Gospel musician Rumbie Zvirikuzhe says preparations for her upcoming Through It All album launch are gathering momentum, with fellow musicians, fans and congregants rallying behind the milestone event.
The concert, set for October 10, at the Anglican Cathedral Gardens in Harare, will celebrate Zvirikuzhe’s 20 years of worship and ministry, with the theme “20 Years of Grace and Gratitude.”
Zvirikuzhe said she was encouraged by the growing support from the gospel music fraternity and her followers, describing the response as a major boost ahead of the celebrations.
“I am very happy with the response and the buy-in we are getting from fellow musicians, our fans and congregants. The support has been overwhelming and it is giving us even more energy as we prepare for this special celebration,” said Zvirikuzhe.
She said the event would also feature surprise guests, promising fans an unforgettable celebration of praise and worship.
“There are surprise guests lined up, so fans should look forward to an electrifying night of praise and worship. This is not just an album launch; it is a celebration of God’s faithfulness throughout the past 20 years,” she said.
The Through It All album launch will bring together some of the country’s notable gospel voices, including Agatha Murudzwa, Trymore Bande, Raymond Chakanyuka, John Alex from Tanzania, Pastor Haisa, Blessing Shumba, Pastor C. Vengere and Apostle P. Sambo.
The event starts at 3pm and runs until late, with Zvirikuzhe expected to headline an evening of worship, praise and thanksgiving.
