BY STYLE REPORTER XTRATIME Entertainment, an arts hub based in South Africa seems to have found a niche on the Zimbabwean showbiz scene in the form of comedy after they confirmed a one-man show titled Unscripted to be staged in Harare in September by South African comedian Barry Hilton.

The show will come on the heels of a comedy night show dubbed I Wish I Was Joking, featuring comic Q Dube that would have happened at Reps Theatre on August 12.

Xtratime entertainment have previously successfully hosted sold out comedy nights in Harare with some heavyweight comedians, namely Anne Kansiime (Uganda), Hilton (South Africa), John Vlismas (South Africa), Alfred Kainga (US), Carl Joshua Ncube, Q Dube, Long John, Doc Vikela Goliath and Goliath (South Africa) Gonyeti, Farhan Esat, Tinaye and Baba Tensen.

“I can confirm that Barry Hilton will be performing Unscripted at the Reps Theatre on Saturday, September 3, fresh from his highly successful Europe Tour,” said Xtratime Entertainment spokesperson Wishart “Shiplings” Mashipe.

“Undoubtedly one of South Africa’s favourite comedians and a firm favourite worldwide, Barry’s humour comes with an unmistakable flavour, funny and family-friendly comedy dished out in generous portions that keep audiences clamouring for more.

Hilton is an award-winning stand-up comedian with over 40 year’s experience.

His show Unscripted returns to Reps Theatre where he reconnects with his “cousins” for a night of laughter.
