Sweden-based musician Luckson Chikutu last week launched a music website that will be publishing his upcoming events among other things.
Chikutu, affectionately known as ManLuckerz, said the initiative should be imitated by other artists as it will be easy for them to connect with their fans.
“I always wanted to have my own website, we are in the era of technology and each and every serious musician should have a website. I also want people to understand the role of Makandire Muzani Music in cultural activities, I am marketing my own brand," he said.
“It is now easy for our fans or readers to find what they are searching for on Makandire Muzani Music. I urge artists back home to do the same, they need to be organised. By launching this website, I am leading by example as explained in my latest album Kurongeka. Kurongeka makes it easier to achieve what one is struggling for.” he said
The Gutu-born musician fronts a multi-racial Zim Traditional-Unity band that plays Zimbabwean traditional music with finesse.
Some of the band members are from Sweden and Mozambique
