Dembare Resume Title Quest

THE boardroom squabbles that have rocked Premier Soccer League (PSL) log leaders Dynamos will not affect their surge towards the title, assistant coach Tonderai Ndiraya says.

“The fight is at the executive level so I don’t think it has any bearing on the playing field,” Ndiraya told IndependentSport yesterday.
“The players are professionals. They know their responsibilities. Even the new players were told not to involve themselves in boardroom issues. They are all aware.”
Dembare visit rivals Highlanders at Barbourfields on Sunday when the PSL resumes this weekend after a three-week break for the Cosafa Senior Challenge Trophy.
In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Dynamos humiliated Bosso 4-0 in Harare.
Dembare’s main rivals for the title, second-placed Gunners, are up against Highway at Gwanzura.
Rank outsiders Caps United, in top form before the league was interrupted, still have a mathematical chance to pip both Dynamos and Gunners.
They play Lengthens on Sunday.
Tomorrow: Motor Action v Njube Sundowns (Callies), Monomotapa v Shooting Stars (Rufaro).
Sunday: Black Rhinos v Underhill (Baghdad), Lengthens v Caps United (Rufaro), Highlanders v Dynamos (Barbourfields), Gunners v Highway (Gwanzura)
Wednesday: Highway v Eagles (Sakubva), Njube Sundowns v Kiglon (Pelandaba), Highlanders v Hwange (Barbourfields),
Thursday: Caps United v Black Rhinos (Rufaro)
Friday: Bantu Rovers v Shooting Stars (Barbourfields) — Staff Writer.
