Ranganai DzotizeiHarare City… (1)2Black Mambas...0PREMIERSHIP newsboys Harare City followed up on their last win over Dynamos when they buried struggling Black Mambas in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Gwanzura yesterday.

Two goals in each half from tear away striker Godfrey Nguwodzawo and substitute Willard Kalongonda ensured the Sunshine Boys move up to 14 points and extended Mambas’ winless streak to five matches.

Within 10 minutes, City thrust themselves ahead when Trymore Nyamadzawo released Nguwodzawo on the left flank who coolly slid the ball past an already drawn out John Nomore in goals for Mambas.

In the second half, the Sunshine Boys shined even brighter probing the Mambas rearguard intensely and duly extended their lead two minutes from stoppage time.

Kalongonda, who had come just two minutes earlier, reacted well to Crybert Muvuti’s pin pointer and smashed his effort home from 10 metres to seal victory for the hosts.

In Bulawayo, Sukoluhle Mtetwa reports that Chicken Inn bounced back to their winning ways as they beat Hwange 2-1 at Luveve yesterday.

Veteran striker Evans Chikwaikwai made all the difference as he beat the final whistle to score the match winner in the third minute of added time and ensured that Chicken Inn collected maximum points.

Tendai Mukambi had thrust  Chicken Inn in the lead in the 31st minute but Rowell Chinyengetere, who made his debut for the Warriors last Sunday, equalised for Chipangano in the hour mark.

When everyone had thought that the two teams were heading for a 1-all draw, Chikwaikwai made a difference and scored the match winner.

Meanwhile, WWS Rangers who are set to face FC Platinum this afternoon have roped in former Dallas FC technical director Barry Gorman into their technical department. Gorman is expected in the country on July 20.

The outfit has also clinched an entertainment deal with Chiwoniso Maraire who will perform at all their matches.
