Harambee Stars striker, Victor Wanyama is a big doubt for the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles but head coach of the Nigeria national team, Stephen Keshi is not attaching much importance to the development.

Wanyama pulled a thigh muscle during Celtic’s Uefa Champions League defeat at Juventus on March 6 and is now a big doubt for the game against Nigeria.
The Harambee Stars are also set to make do without the services of Genoa midfielder, McDonald Mariga.
The Inter Milan midfielder, who is on loan at the Stadio Tardini, was stretchered off after pulling a muscle, three minutes into his full debut against Genoa in a league match three weeks ago.
Keshi has now voiced his thoughts on the situation insisting that Nigeria have bigger stars missing from the game.
“If I am happy that Wanyama could miss the game? I think it’s the Kenyans that should be happy that they won’t be dealing with players like Osaze [Odemwingie], Kalu Uche, [Emmanuel Emenike] and Joseph Yobo,” Keshi said.
Nigeria are currently at the summit of Group F of 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifying on four points from two games.
