The PSL elections, whose nomination period was yesterday extended to April 11, will be held on the weekend of April 27 and 28.

According to close sources, Dynamos vice-chairman Webster Chikengezha will battle it out for the league’s board member finance position with Black Mambas’ Francis Maswerwe.

Highlanders chairman Peter Dube has declared his is interest in the position of Board Member development position which  he will contest with Monomotapa chairman Joseph Mukoki.

The board member development position was previously held by Cuthbert Chitima whose team Gunners FC was relegated, while that of board member (Finance) was held by former Dynamos treasurer Harrison Mbewe, who is no longer with the club.

Other positions up for grabs are that of the Zifa Division One Northern Region chairmanship in which Ali Sundowns owner Desmond Ali and Saidi Sangula have shown an interest.
