Bottom-placed Motor Action put up a spirited show to salvage an important away point after holding Shabanie Mine to a one-all draw at Maglas yesterday.

The Mighty Bulls took the lead in the 21st minute through teenage striker Walter Musona to force Shabanie to dig deep to save face, courtesy of substitute Pervington Zimunya’s beautiful freekick two minutes from time.

Luke Masomere, the Shabanie coach blamed his teams’ subdued performance on lack of motivation.

Masomere had no kind words for the team’s executive which he blamed for not resourcing the team adequately, leading to poor results.

Despite picking an away point, Motor Action remain rooted at the bottom of the log with 15 points and continue facing relegation.
