The event will run from April 11 to 17 in Manchester.

Friendly Academy director Richard Solobala confirmed the invitation, adding that they had already started preparing for the event.

“We have been presented with a life-time opportunity. Without wasting time, we have started preparing for this event. We hope to go there with more than 15 kids and we are optimistic that from the crop of junior players we have, some of them will be identified,” Solobala said.

According to the invite, the travelling players will be treated to 16 hours of football training using state-of-the-art football training equipment, as well as attending football seminars to be conducted by different facilitators.

The kids will have a chance to watch Manchester United playing Hull City at Old Trafford.

Friendly Academy has helped five children to secure football scholarship in the United States. Recently they had a fruitful trial stint in Spain where two of their players were recommended at Espanyol.
