
Siboninkosi Hove, who represented Zimbabwe at the 26th edition of the World Miss Universities, will embark on projects aimed at promoting peace.

The model was crowned first princess at the competition ahead of 39 others. Miss Universities Mexico scooped the top prize.
The pageant that was held in South Korea seeks to promote peace around the world and ran under the theme, Peace Movement for the World’s Unification.
Speaking to Standardlife&style shortly after returning from South Korea, the Africa University student said she was determined to work on projects aimed at promoting peace.
“As a representative from a peaceful nation who participated at a peace promoting pageant, I am determined to come up with initiatives to promote peace,” said Hove.
The 21-year-old beauty came second to Miss Universities Mexico while Miss Universities Brazil was crowned the second princess. Miss Universities Ukraine was crowned Miss Talent.
Hove was named the Hwacheon City Ambassador in Africa and won academic sponsorship.

Her success comes on the backdrop of yet another triumph by Miss Carnival Zimbabwe, Dananai Chipunza, who also had better fortunes on the global ramp, coming out on 10th position at the 17th Miss Tourism International in Putrajaya, Malaysia in December last year.
Meanwhile, director of Miss Universities Zimbabwe Trust in charge of International Relations, Edward Mazibuko said his organisation was happy to be grooming models that raised the country’s flag high.
“We are proud of Hove who has managed to grasp what was inculcated into her by our team with special mentioning of popular comedian Doc Vikela [Victor Mpofu] who was Hove’s personal chaperon,” said Mazibuko.
“This is a great start ahead of our fifth year anniversary to be celebrated in October. As Miss Universities Zimbabwe Trust, we are determined to provide such a platform for university students.”
Zimbabwe was participating in the World Miss Universities pageant for the first time since its inception in 1986. The pageant has an average of 40 contestants each year.
