To celebrate beauty in style, organisers of the pageant in partnership with music promoter Partson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions this year are flying in The Wanna Go Home with his nine-member ensemble for the event.

Apart from the modelling extravaganza to be held under the theme Define Your Beauty, Glamis Arena will reverberate to the sounds of different genres as Romain Virgo supported by man of the moment Jah Prayzah, beat boxer Pro Beatz, dancehall artists, Dobba Don, Soul Jah Love and Freeman, who will take turns to entertain guests.

Popular sounds, Judgement Yard alongside the Immortal Movement duo of Gary B and Templeman will be rocking it on the decks.

In an interview with The Standard Style, Yolana Investments, the sole licensed distributors of Black Opal Cosmetics in Zimbabwe, marketing director Tatenda Mutseyekwa said they were still looking for partners and sponsors in the hospitality industry for a resounding welcome for Romain Virgo.

“As Yolana Investments, the largest cosmetics and skin care brand for men and women in the country, we are committed to support and celebrate beauty in a special way that also markets our nation as a safe tourist destination,” Mutseyekwa said.

Pageant spokesperson Tanaka Ngorora said; “The winning queen will pocket a whopping $8 000, plus a year’s supply of Black Opal skincare and colour cosmetics among other prizes while in a first of its kind this year, we will honour and give back to our customers as a winner will drive away in a Toyota IST.”

Unlike other beauty pageants, the Bofoz pageant accommodates married, curvy, tall and short participants, as the organisers mainly concentrate on facial beauty and the knowledge of the Black Opal products.
