Artists, including Killer T, Ammara Brown, Sulumani Chimbetu, Andy Muridzo and Stunner, constitute part of the musicians who are going to thrill revellers during the event, which will stretch from 10am, overnight till the same time on the next day.

Speaking to The Standard Style on Thursday, the organisers’ representative Munashe Chokodza said the festival, which is “a lifetime experience” will be a mixed bag of entertainment.

“It is a fusion of fun, a first of its nature to have artists performing live, braai, games and swimming with all of it happening in 24 hours and for a paltry amount of $5 as entrance fee,” he said.

Chokodza added that although ticket purchases were currently steady, they were expecting a massive crowd to turn up as they wish to initiate a new feel to the festive season flow.

“Preparations for the show are now at an advanced stage; everything is now in order and response in terms of ticket purchase is overwhelming, although we are still encouraging more people to come in their numbers,” said Chokodza.

Revellers have in the past been left stranded when traffic has been jammed on their way out of the venue, but Chokodza said they had put in place a mechanism to ensure smooth flow of traffic into and out of the venue.

“We have a clear traffic system controlled by a security company while we also have different entrances and exit points to the extent that there will be no hassles,” he said, adding that tents were in place just in case it rained.

Tickets which are pegged at $5 for general entry, $25 for VIP and $75 for VVIP are being sold at Ticket Central online, DStv and Compusys outlets.
