Recently the gospel crooner won the award for the Most Improved Gospel Artiste within the Harvest House International community, which he sees as a door that was opened for him. Chikondo told The Standard Style that he was putting final touches on the third album.
“To date, I have released two albums. The first one is titled Splendid Worship Volume 1, which has six tracks, and recently l released my second album titled Splendid Worship Volume 2 — an eight-track album,” Chikondo said.
“So, now l am working on my third album, which l am going to release early next year and it is going be better with the experience I now have.”
The 22-year-old, who is also a music producer, started his music career at the age of 13.
“I started my music career at the age of 13 in Harare where I joined the church choir as a vocalist and instrumentalist. Since then, my career as a musician mushroomed and l became seasoned and now l am proud of the gospel musician l have become,” he said.
Chikondo said he chose music because it was something that was part of his life from the word go. To him, he said, music was inborn and it was more of a calling.
