KWEKWE gospel music lovers will be in for a treat when a galaxy of top gospel musicians besiege the city for a show next month.

Kudzi Nyakudya, Pastor G, Bethany Pasinawako-Ngolomi and Lyton Ngolomi, among others, will descend on the city for a show that will be running under the theme Getting Personal with God.

One of the organisers of the event and musician, Courage Teera, said preparations were on course and fans should expect nothing, but fireworks.

“The dates and venue will be announced in due course, but as local artistes we are already prepared to share the stage with the gospel legends who have established their names in the industry,” Teera said.

“l feel honoured to be part of the musicians to perform at the event. This will be a show that Kwekwe fans will never forget and l am promising my fans that l will do my best.”

Teera admitted that Kwekwe is usually quiet in terms of having shows for gospel musicians, but said this event was going to be a game-changer in his music career.

“As upcoming musicians, we still have a lot to learn from those who have been in the industry before us and we are going to benefit a lot from this show. We hope to continue having such events in our town so that we have opportunities to showcase our talents and have ourselves known out there,” he said.

Meanwhile, Teera recently released a six-track album titled Ndopira Zvose and is now working on videos which are expected to be done by the end of next month.

Teera’s career took off in 2014 when he began recording singles and performing at various functions and in church.

His previous album received overwhelming support.

Some of the organising team of the event include Ngolomi, Khetiwe Manzunzu and Carol Mazoyo.
