Organisers of Miss Earth Zimbabwe have confirmed their participation in the Miss Earth International finals slated for the Philippines on October 26.

Zimbabwe will be represented by 20-year-old Monallisa Chiredzero from Harare who is the reigning Miss Earth Zimbabwe.

Miss Earth Zimbabwe Trust national director Blessing Gaihai said the winner of Miss Earth serves as the ambassador of the environmental protection campaigns worldwide.

“As Miss Earth Zimbabwe Trust, we are doing our best in protecting and building our pageant’s reputation as the most relevant modelling contest in the world that sets a legacy of beauty and responsibility,” Gaihai said.

“The pageant has the most coveted beauty titles when it comes to national pageant competition. Reigning title holders dedicate their year to promote specific projects and often adress issues to do with the environment and other national issues such as clean-up campaigns.”

Gaihai said the pageant has three princeess titles that is first princess who is Miss Air, second princess Miss Water and third princess Miss Fire.
