TELEVISION personality and musician Alexio “Good Child” Gwenzi has joined forces with Zimdancehall chanter Nutty O to release a love song titled Underrate.
The song is about demystifying the secret of love where people usually give different comments about dating couples without knowing their inner character.
“Normally people ask questions you are dating so and so. Society doesn’t see what you see in your partner. Underrated means you all don’t know what l know about my partner — she looks chilled, cool, innocent and backward, but l am really appreciating her the way she is,” said Gwenzi He said working with Nutty O was a great experience because they had to exchange notes and come up with classical music.
“Joining forces with Nutty O was a great experience. He is a motivated young man full of energy, zeal, passion and most importantly wisdom. He is also a great writer, lyrics and melodies comes to him so easily thereby revealing a real talent,” he said.
Gwenzi promised more surprises for his fans this year as he was working on three videos of Marry Me, Katitenderedza featuring Xtra Large, and Underrated.
“I am working on three videos which will be released later this year. l am not rushing things, but am taking my time to make sure l produce classic videos. l am convinced my fans will like them,” Gwenzi said.
Gwenzi is popular on ZTV programme Coke on the Beat and has also been hosting children’s shows on the national broadcaster.
