Bulawayo-based multi-talented artiste Osee, born Victor Charles Mabika (pictured below), has described his upcoming album as a chronicle of his day-to-day trials and tribulations.

Osee is a poet, songwriter, singer and painter.

His upcoming project titled When Silence Speaks, features reggae singer and Skyz Metro FM radio personality Gabz Fire and Afro-pop singer Mzoe 7.

“The album is very important to me in the sense that it speaks of what I feel and go through on a daily basis. I know that the songs will evoke many people’s feelings from their experiences. I try to inspire, encourage and teach both the young and the old through music,” Osee said.

“The album is easy on the ears, enjoyable and relatable, but I know it will relate to most people as it’s also a diary of our day-to-day trials and tribulations,” he said.

The seven-track album, set for release in November, carries tracks such as Manga Musipo, featuring Real Kid, Chitsvambe, featuring Percy Mativenga and Cee Hits, Kura Uone and Gwenyambira.

“The old and wise say we should not forget where we come from so we that we may know where we are going.

The album was produced by Mativenga.
