Upcoming musician Blessing “Bless” Muradzikwa says he was so excited to see his dream to sing alongside award-winning sensational gospel artiste Sebastian Magacha when they collaborated for a track tittled Nekuti Munengoni released on Thursday.

Muradzikwa described his collaboration with Magacha as “big” and a dream come true.

“I consider that as a big collaboration considering Sebastian’s prominence and experience in the music industry. “His versatility is on top of the list. I have listened to all of his albums and always found tracks that speak to various generations. I haven’t done a collaboration of such magnitude before,” he said.

“This collaboration was at the top of my ‘collaborations bucket list’. It’s a dream come true. Besides, it’s his music that inspired me to become a gospel musician. Since childhood he has always been my inspiration. I’m so excited that finally I got an opportunity to work with my role model.”

Bless started writing part of Nekuti Munengoni while studying at Marondera High School nine years ago.

“I wrote a quarter of the song back in 2013 when I was in high school. It was meant for the school choir, but it didn’t pass the audition, so I shelved it. Five years later, I revisited and rewrote it. With all things being equal, we will release the video for the song next month,” he said.

“Working with Saba was very amazing. He is a good guy in and out of the studio. He always aims to bring the best out of a project. When it’s business, he means business.”

Nekuti Munengoni is a track that talks about how God can raise people who are looked down upon.

In the Bible, examples of such people are David and Moses who seemed unfit for the roles they played but in God’s eyes were the appropriate.
