Esteem Communications, a multi-award-winning brand development and brand management company, hosted a highly successful Digital Tools Training Bootcamp in Harare last Tuesday.

The bootcamp, spearheaded by Takemore Mazuruse, managing director of Esteem Communications, drew a fantastic turnout and garnered incredible feedback from attendees.

The focus was on equipping participants with essential digital skills in Agentic AI, Digital Marketing Strategies, and Digital Event Management Tools.

Participants raved about the value of the training.

Precious Dube, a branding and marketing professional and owner of a hospitality business who travelled all the way from Victoria Falls, was particularly impressed.

“The bootcamp was absolutely invaluable,” Dube said.

“The insights I gained into Agentic AI and digital marketing strategies are already transforming how I approach my business.

“The long trip was definitely worth it.”

Nerious Mhuriro, an award-winning businessman and managing director of Cutting Lyne, a leading company in the customs clearance and logistics industry, echoed Dube's sentiments.

“As a business leader, I'm constantly looking for ways to improve our efficiency and reach,” Mhuriro stated.

“This bootcamp provided practical, actionable strategies that I can implement immediately to enhance our digital marketing efforts and streamline our event management processes.

“It was a worthwhile investment of my time.”

A team of presenters, including Reggemore Marongedze, a digital tools expert from the University of Zimbabwe and a research fellow at University of Glasgow, led the training.

Marongedze expressed his enthusiasm for the programme.

“This bootcamp will empower attendees with knowledge that is currently shaping the future of marketing and event management,” he said.

“The integration of Agentic AI into these fields is revolutionary, and understanding it will give participants a significant edge.”

Monica Gondo, postgraduate coordinator at the Harare Institute of Technology, also highlighted the importance of the training.

“As we move into a more digital era, it is crucial for both students and professionals to stay updated with the latest tools and trends,” she said.

“This bootcamp is an invaluable opportunity to gain insights that can be applied in real-world scenarios.”

Building on the success of this initial event, organisers announced that more training sessions are lined up, with the next one scheduled for July.

Plans are underway to expand the reach of the bootcamp, bringing it to other cities including Bulawayo, Masvingo, Mutare, Gweru and Victoria Falls.

Mazuruse extended a big thank you to everyone who joined the bootcamp, emphasising the importance of embracing the new and levelling up of digital skills.

“We are grateful to the participants for showing up and embracing the future through this digital tools training bootcamp,” he said.

“The world has gone digital and it’s folly to ignore the inevitable.

“The future is here and we are doing our best to equip this generation with the requisite skills.”
