Letter from America: Why Africa must unite!

Sachs estimates that more than US$750 billion was thus siphoned off from African countries and used in the re-development of France.

I AM convinced that before 2015 and the advent of YouTube, X and other social media instruments on an international scale, the globalists committed many terrible atrocities and got away with them.

It was not that these atrocities were beyond the grasp of experts, it was that these experts were powerless to broadcast them. The leading news organisations, BBC, Reuters, Associated Press and Agency France, were in the hands of the globalists.

Here are some of the atrocious activities carried out by these globalists from which we were kept uninformed. Professor Jeffrey Sachs says that at the end of the war in 1947, France was so drained of resources that it concocted a scheme whereby the newly independent 14 Francophone states would deposit half of their foreign exchange reserves in France.

Sachs estimates that more than US$750 billion was thus siphoned off from African countries and used in the re-development of France.

But that is only part of the grand theft. The 14 colonies borrowed from this fund, at commercial rates.

France decided what projects were to be “funded” by this development aid.

This is the basis of Africa’s impoverishment. As we speak, France is in serious financial trouble because African countries have withdrawn their “reserves” from France.

But France was not the only European country involved in these grand thefts. Colonel Douglas McGregor worked for the US government until 2020. When Hugo Chavez came to power in Venezuela in 2002, he initiated a policy on nationalisation of the oil industry.

This annoyed EXXON, the largest US oil company in the world, and of course the US government of Geroge W. Bush.

Immediately, there was a flash of “human rights abuses” and “transparency violations” in the US and European press and sanctions were imposed.

McGregor brings a hitherto unknown factor. Venezuela is in the US hemisphere of dominance, which professor John Mearsheimer called its “roaming ground.”

It was a British secret outfit, MI VI, according to McGregor, which knew some secrets. Venezuela had gold reserves in Britain, and these could be “frozen;” thus forcing an economic meltdown and an government overthrow.

Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world.

It flipped over, was injured severely, but did not collapse.

Come in Mr Trump.

Because US president Donald Trump has no guard rails over his mouth, he asked, in his first term in office (2016-2020) why the US was trying to “steal” Venezuelan oil.

In Trump’s second term (2024 plus) he had been sold the goods, and appreciated the idea of “stealing Venezuelan oil.” McGregor makes a curious suggestion, and Trump seems to authenticate that suggestion.

The US, Britain, and France have been living above their means. Their ability to control world resources is being challenged every day by upstarts like Ibrahim Traore, Cyril Ramaphosa and our big brother BolaTinubu of Nigeria.

Trump, remember he has a loud mouth, loudly confessed- “Oh, Venezuela, with its trillions of oil reserves, we just steal the oil” (paraphrase). McGregor says these three countries are in a desperate situation to balance their books, and have now thrown out the veneer of morality.

No, I repent the last statement. France, Britain and the European Union still hide under the hypocritical blanket of “democracy” and “human rights” as excuses to invade Venezuela.

By the way, Trump, as we go to press, has authorised the killing of over 100 Venezuelan fishermen in open international waters under the pretext that they were carrying drugs to a far away, 1000 kilometer away USA.

Not a single boat has been found carrying such drugs.

But that is not the point. Remember Trump has a loose mouth. He forgets that just a few days ago he was drooling openly about stealing Venezuelan oil.

The attack on Venezuelan fishermen is aimed at provoking a reaction, then all hell will break loose.

“Oh, Venezuela has attacked an American boat!” or something to that effect. There are already 20 000 US forces in Venezuelan waters supported by 10 000 marines. The provocation is called “Southern Spear.”

“War is coming,” says McGregor.

Africa must unite!

Trump has not spared Africa the indignities that come from daily humiliation at his office. He calls African leaders to Washington, and humiliates them before the world.

In my last letter, I referred to a Harvard psycho-professor who observed that Trump seems to enjoy the humiliation of his victims.

I beg to differ a little. Trump is not unique in this regard. All imperialists enjoy this behavior.

When Queen Nzinga was called for an audience with a Portuguese explorer, the Portuguese deliberately did not provide a seat for her. Everybody else was seated.

With quick thinking, she ordered one of her men to kneel and she sat on his torso.

The bombastic speech making by Trump is but only a reflection of what Americans think of their lesser brothers abroad, namely Africans.

When Trump refused to attend the G-20 summit in South Africa, and listen to this one. He ordered that no summit statement be issued without his permission, even though he did not attend.

There is nothing unusual about that. President Yoweri Museveni says that the African Union sent him and an African delegation to arbitrate between the European Union and Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.

US president Barack Obama ordered Museveni to abandon the trip. Soon after, on Obama’s orders- Secretary Hillary Clinton chuckled: “We came, we saw, and a man died.”

Any African who looks out to Democrats, or Britain, or to France for help, is a fool. One last word from professor Sachs.

The plan is to keep Africa disunited and in constant turmoil, so they can have a good run of their resources. Brothers, the wise man has given you a fair warning.
