Zim Hip Hop will take center stage at the Shoko Festival's "Mash Up Night" on September 25 at the Harare Gardens.
The Mash Up Night - which features artists from different genres collaborating on one stage to showcase creativity and energetic live performances will have a strong hip-hop influence this year.
Rapper Voltz JT will headline the show, joined by Mugaratia, Luigi Badgena, DJ Madeherbelieve, Hooksmith, Supermuno, Million Million, Easy Ice, and songstress Xiba.
Meanwhile, Bulawayo-based artist Bhila will bring a fusion of Afro-soul and Mbaqanga to the stage.
Speaking on his inclusion in the lineup, Bhila said, "I'm happy to be part of this festival. I'm looking forward to sharing my music and sound with everyone in Harare. The world needs to hear what we have been cooking."
Shoko Festival 2026 takes place from September 24 to 26, 2026, across Harare and Chitungwiza under the theme "Unmuted."
Key events include the Comedy Night, scheduled for September 24 at Harare Gardens, headlined by Nigel Tha Slick Pastor, featuring Chipenzi and Neville Bird, and hosted by Magi (Sharon Chideu). Green Cities Expo, will take place on September 25 at the Harare Gardens Green, featuring free entry and discussions on sustainable urban spaces.
Other highlights include the Hub UnConference, Mash Up Night, and the Peace in the Hood event in Chitungwiza.
