Bulawayo author releases three new books on relationships

In Keys for a Successful Romantic Relationship, he reveals the foundational keys to sustaining a thriving relationship and uncovers the true essence of romantic love.

Bulawayo-based author Tinashe Walter Timothy, widely known as Walter Tynash, has released three new books focusing on relationships — Dating and Courtship, Becoming a Complementary Spouse and Keys for a Successful Romantic Relationship.

Tynash said the books were inspired by his own journey to understand the deeper, divine purpose of relationships after struggling as a youth to identify the right partner.

“As a youth, I struggled to find answers on how to identify the right partner and maintain a fulfilling relationship,” he said.

“After three years of studying the Bible, psychology, and philosophy, I discovered the meaning and purpose of relationships.

“It wasn’t about seeking external validation, but rather uncovering a deeper, divine purpose that drove me to explore further.”

Tynash the content of each book: In Dating and Courtship, he explores the purpose and distinctions among courtship, dating, and marriage, offering insights into these significant life stages.

In Keys for a Successful Romantic Relationship, he reveals the foundational keys to sustaining a thriving relationship and uncovers the true essence of romantic love.

In Becoming a Complementary Spouse, he shares insights on how to become the best partner possible, drawing inspiration from his parents' relationship, which he considers a model of complementary partnership.

The author stated that his writing process was inspired by Jim Rohn's wisdom.

“My writing process was inspired by Jim Rohn's wisdom,” he said.

“I prioritise self-improvement after work.

“My discipline involves writing about relationships late at night after work and journaling during the day to capture insights and reflections, which I then develop further in my late-night writing sessions.”

The author admitted that one of his biggest hurdles was separating his emotions and experiences from the content in the books.

“To overcome this challenge, I speak on relationships from different perspectives without really considering my own experience and emotions,” he said.

Tynash was born in Mutare in 1998 and was raised by his parents, who are his greatest inspiration, especially in his writings, as he reflects much on their relationship.

He attended Rujeko Primary School and St Joseph’s High School in Mutare and completed his A’ Levels at Lobengula High School in Bulawayo.

He began writing in January 2024 before releasing his first book in December 2024.

He is currently working on a new book titled Stages of Career Success, which is set to be released by the end of September.

You can find Tynash's works on his websites.

His books are available for US$10 for hard copies and US$6 for soft copies.
